the thing about it is, dean can’t actually dance. like, dance dance. but he practices and practices with whoever doesn’t mind having their toes trod on repeatedly and by the time the big event comes he forgets to be nervous because he’s too busy with the burn in his cheeks from smiling too much and the way cas is looking at him like the sun shines from his core and all the stars are his making.
