I’m leaving this blog up, but because my interests have changed and I’ve wanted to start fresh (in life and the internet) I also have another blog that I encourage all my wonderful followers to take a peek at!

I won’t be deleting this blog but I’ll be less active on here.

Help Me Save For A Home

For those of you who don’t know, my name is Talon. I’ve been active on tumblr for years, as fandom and political blogs. I’ve been on here as: heavenboundcas, stardustruby, and addmparrish. The first picture is most recent of me.

I’m 18 years old and I currently live 50 miles from St. Louis.  I graduated highschool in May of this year. I work at a retail store in the next town over that pays $9 dollars an hour. My dog is my baby and I care about him and my brother more than anything.

I’ve lived in the same apartment with my younger brother (two years younger) since my freshman year of highschool, up until recently.

My mother raised me and my brother up until my freshman year when she moved out and left me and my brother alone. She moved a few towns away with her boyfriend, and for the past almost five years, she’s never really been there for me or my brother. She prefers to live her own life, and to leave her children out of it.  I raised my brother and helped him through middle school and his first year of highschool.

Most recently, she decided to come home. She moved all her stuff back in but she also decided that I should leave. She demanded that I leave that night and not come back. So I packed my things (mostly my clothes; my bed and books were left in my room) and left. 

I currently live with my boyfriend, who lives with his mother and older brother, not far from where the apartment is. But the place we live is small, and I’m currently living out of the totes that I brought with my that contain clothes. (pictured above)

Before my mom kicked me out, I had plans to attend my local community college. This is being pushed further away now due to me needing to get my own place. This is where I ask for your help.

I’m looking to rent an apartment closer to the community college and to my work so I can pick up more hours and look into attending the college next fall. There lies the issue though: the money I’m making isn’t enough to cover saving and for the things I need to live where I am.

Any money is helpful and goes towards me getting things for showers, food, and other basic things so I can work on saving money from my job for a place to live.

Any amount is helpful, and so appreciated. I want nothing more than to get my own place and be able to take care of my dog and myself.

Even if you can’t donate, a reblog is just as much appreciated.

I’ve always considered the followers I’ve gathered on here over the years as part of my friends and I love all of you so much.
