I wrote 2,800 words that WEREN'T for my big bang, which is officially almost 3 times as many words as I have for my big bang. (*tries not to panic*)
That is how much I love you, my prompt providing anon.
It needs a read through by both me and a beta, and then I'll post.
It is Truth or Dare goodness. I hope.
When your friend can take your awkwardness and anxiety and turn it into feeling adorable, that's someone worth keeping.
Rules: In a textpost list ten books that have stayed with you in some way. Don’t take but a few minutes, and don’t think too hard - they don’t have to be the “right” or “great” works, just the ones that have touched you. Tag ten friends, including me, so I’ll see your list. Make sure you let your friends know you’ve tagged them.
Harry Potter. All of them. by JK Rowling
Farseer Trilogy and Tawny Man Trilogy by Robin Hobb
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card
Hunger Games Trilogy by Suzanne Collins

3. Which season finale was your favorite/least favorite?
Oh, gosh, it's so hard to decide! I think I'll have to go with S4 being my favorite season finale. I don't think I have a least favorite? It has been a while since I've seen most of the finales, but I think I liked them all for various reasons~
Already answered the other two~ ^_^

I'm sorry for making you second guess yourself! I guess that post was the final straw to me after the amount of upseting things I read since yesterdat. I understand why you reblogged it with your explanation. And thanks for being awesome! ^^
Dude, no worries at all! Sometimes I'll read things completely wrong and get super upset about them, then re-read and be like, oh, wait... I over-reacted. The same works vice versa--sometimes I it'll slip past my view how it could be offensive. Thanks for pointing it out to me!
YOU'RE awesome! :)

HOOEY. Just watch a show if you like it, don't watch if you don't wanna, and life goes on. It's probably more helpful to a show if you do things like write encouraging (or critical) letters to the writers/producers, or buy some merch.
Hear hear, man! Fo sho! If it don't float your boat, don't watch it :) And I'm all for letter writing campaigns, man. But only to the right people!
destielengineering replied to your post “Not watching the episode is not about protesting, at least not to the people I know, it's about not watching something that will hurt us, it's protecting our own feelings. I love Cas, but I'm gonna put myself and my own feelings first. The kiss hurt me a lot already, why would I watch the episode if a sex scene is more likely than not and would hurt me even more? Also, it's one episode. I doubt they will fire Misha over one episode. Not that a few shippers will make enough difference anyway.”
It definitely does! That post itself is just really upseting to me because all it does is call people delusional for shipping canon D/C and try to guilt trip people into watching. I didn't think it was your intention, just wanted to give my reason!
You know, when I first read it, I didn't see it that way. But I went back and I can see where you're coming from. So I deleted it :)
Remember: I always support taking care of yourself--that's a big deal, and very, very important! :)
Not watching the episode is not about protesting, at least not to the people I know, it's about not watching something that will hurt us, it's protecting our own feelings. I love Cas, but I'm gonna put myself and my own feelings first. The kiss hurt me a lot already, why would I watch the episode if a sex scene is more likely than not and would hurt me even more? Also, it's one episode. I doubt they will fire Misha over one episode. Not that a few shippers will make enough difference anyway.
I completely respect your desire to protect yourself. My reblogging that post had nothing to do with anyone who was emotionally hurt by what they saw.
The post was speaking towards tendencies within the fandom (and not just the SPN fandom, but fandoms in general) to believe that Neilson ratings have any effect over the general content of the show. They really don't. Yes, Neilson ratings can show a general popularity of a character (as most episodes in SPN increased in number when Misha was back on set). However, to delegate a ratings drop to one specific event is almost impossible.
I reblogged to emphasize that if people were upset, they needed to write to the producers of the show, to the CW network itself, and not to the writers.
I love how focused the SPN fandom is. I love how ardent Destiel and Deancas shippers are. But so much of that energy is directed at the wrong source. And if if were someone's goal, to affect the writers' creation of Castiel by dropping the numbers, I wanted to assure them that the likelihood of that happening is almost slim to none.
So that's why I reblogged it. Again, if you are not watching to protect your heart, my goodness of course I support that. I will watch, and I'm almost 100% sure it's going to suck and I'll be upset, but I'm willing to hope that it will be done with a comedic or a kind tint, which might make it bearable.
I'm not trying to tell anyone they can't feel upset. I am merely saying that, if the end goal is to create an effect in the show's construction, it will not happen.
(And no, I don't think they will fire Misha after one bad episode. If, however, this pattern were to continue, the show itself might have trouble seeking a tenth season.)
Hope that clears it up!
