Most of the 30-mile ride on Sunday consisted of maintained county roads. This 2-mile section of non-maintained road on they Wyoming/Idaho stateline was slow going, but rideable. #FitzyMTBstoke #DestinationReroute (at Idaho Wyoming State Line)

Red Canyon Rim of Flaming Gorge. Looking back at photos for an article today, I rediscovered this one from my #DestinationSouthwest trip. This was the first stop on the 5-week, 6,000 mile adventure. I had this whole area mostly to myself except for the big horn sheep hanging out. I explored the rim via the 10-mile rim trail, which still had big sections of snow cover. Then I hung my hammock on the rim, made dinner and watched the sunset. The next morning the sunrise was just as spectacular. Despite all the adventures that followed, there was something about this first stop that resonates and impacted me. #DestinationReroute (at Flaming Gorge, Utah)
