A smirk crept onto his face at the spite, he expected it and wasn’t completely shocked about it, offering the other a small cup and pouring a tea. “There really is no need for such spiteful words, Pegasus. I am simply here to chat with you.” 

Crossing his leg over the other, resting within the chair as he eyed the man, heterochromatic eyes running over his form and face, this was the very man who’d started it all and he could be the reason of his downfall, he’d need to play it carefully. 

“How rude of me. My name is Dartz. I know the Pharaoh, I was there in his prime, now I am here with him also. Trust me, the reputation you have heard and seen is all a ruse, I know what he did in Egypt all those years ago. The destruction of many villages, almost destroying the world with the very god cards he holds.... well, not any longer.”

🌵 Woody trembles at the sight of the poor toy bellow him. Its heart breaking to find another one of Sid’s victims in such a state. He shakes his head in horror. Gingerly, he shakes the once unconscious toy as he lies on the lawn outside the torture house. 

As the toy begins to come to Woody finds no space in which to speak. The poor guy is in such a state of pain and terror that he is a spluttering mess. All he can do is offer Pegasus some comfort in holding him up with his free arm.

Cyndia? Woody swallows hard. Was she his original kid or perhaps his friend? He doesn’t know but a pang of guilt hits him, knowing that he can’t bring him to her in his time of need.

“Hey, hey! Its alright. Hey, its okay, I’m going to get you away from here.” The sheriff attempts to comfort him. “Now come on, partner, we can’t stay here. They will be back any minute.” He tries his best to lift the other to his feet, still supporting him as best he can. “Think you can walk for me, friend? We don’t want to be here when they get back or we’re gonna’ be some kinda sick combination of the two of us!” 🌵

“But do you really want to stop us?” Her voice was low and sultry as she touched his shoulder, hand dragging down his arm. Camellia’s voice was but a breath tickling his ear. Oh, he was going to be fun.

Jun liked the human dimension. Compared to the various realms of monsters and spells and gods, where magic was common, this world was almost entirely unremarkable.

But that was the keyword - almost. All worlds were connected, and this one was no different. Every once in a while, people would find ways to access those bridges between worlds, to tap into powers they really shouldn't be messing with.

Jun had been aware of Pegasus for as long as he could remember - a lot of spirits were, on some level, seeing as he was the one who'd given them the form of cards in the first place - and he'd been planning to seek him out, to asses how much of a threat he was, for just as long. With Dark World more or less restored to an acceptable state, he now finally had the time to do so.

And that was the reason why there was now a giant heckin' dragon in Pegasus' room, calmly staring at him with cool grey eyes.
