When you run towards the Pyramid in the first mission of Shadowkeep the game actually does a Dolly Zoom on it to build tension and unease towards it.
The Dolly Zoom is a camera technique where the camera pans in while zooming out to get an abstract focus on a specific area. It’s famously used in this scene from Jaws
It’s the first time I’ve seen it done in a video game before in-engine and much more impressively from a first person perspective.
