This is gonna be a weird question/post, but I'm writing a story that involves Zavala being the pen pal of a 1st grader within the Last City as part of a program the city puts together to better connect guardians with the city's residents, and while I've got a few ideas for his answers on some of these, I wanted to ask people who might be more lore-savvy than me what they think his answers would be. So here they are (again for context these questions are being asked by a 6 year old, so they're pretty childish/non-serious, and this is also taking place nine to ten years before the Red War (the kid ends up becoming a Titan guardian) so bringing up Targe isn't inappropriate):
1. What's your favorite movie and what's your favorite TV show? (Feel free to make something up, but I'm leaning toward him liking Saving Private Ryan and my dad jokingly said his favorite show would be "The Real Housewives of the Last City")
2. What's your favorite animal?
3. Do you have any pets?
4. How old are you? (Can be both his physical age and how long he's been a Titan)
5. What's your ghost like?
I'm also open to hearing what other questions and answers you think a 6 year old would ask; I like to think I'm pretty good at writing from a kid's POV, but I appreciate any feedback or suggestions!
Whatever you do, do NOT think about Zavala’s ghost, Targe.
Do not think about the fact that a targe is a type of shield.
That throughout centuries, Targe protected Zavala from a permanent death.
Don’t think about how he willingly let himself be destroyed.
He knew Zavala wouldn’t need a shield anymore, because Zavala was done fighting.
(cayde and andal carrying a breakfast platter into zavala's bedroom while he's still asleep)
cayde, warmly: good morning, sleepyhead!
andal: we brought you some breakfast.
zavala: (silently peering at them from over the covers, eyes squinted)
cayde: (reveals the huge platter of eggs and bacon they made, both him and andal start crooning excitedly)
zavala, unphased: ...what did you both do
cayde: we made you breakfast!
zavala: no, i know that. you would never make me breakfast if you didn't do something horrible on the back end.
andal, his voice mock-offended while he forces himself not to close his eyes: zavala....
cayde: we're your friends, we love you! we can't do something nice for you?
zavala: no, you can't. you actually can't.
Oooooh I'm in tearrssss😭

Zavala came in the mail today so I brought him and a few others to dinner :)
The way zavalas voice sounds so soft and vulnerable when talking about Targe ohhhmygoshhhhh im gonna cry their soooo ughhhhh
The bond ghost and guardians have with eachother is my favoriteee
