What is your favourite thing about your muse? Why did you pick them up, what do you want to explore?

It’s very difficult to pinpoint a favorite, central thing about him but in this moment, if I had to choose, I’d say his bravery. He’s an extraordinarily brave person, and not just in the ‘facing down the guns against impossible odds’ way, which is also a part of him, but in... his emotional fortitude? His forward motion? It takes a bravery I can hardly imagine to... get up from death. To not stagnant in a loss as staggering as your father-like-figure (who you genuinely loved) dying and you getting blamed. And it also takes a kind of courage to not let that destroy you, and make you destructive & angry in response to the reasonable rage of that unfairness. 

He’s just... brave. 

I’ll admit I picked him up because I couldn’t get him off my mind and out of my creative thinking. I started roleplaying Connor in the beginning. But then I replayed the game, and embraced writing in the fandom, and I started thinking about situations that involved Markus. My ideas, the ones I was really interested in, had him as a core part and I stopped saying ‘I wonder what a Markus would say about that’ and said, ‘I’m gonna find out for myself’. 

As for what I want to explore with his character... I’d love to flesh him out more pre-deviancy event. Perhaps introduce more interaction/character development moments he faced prior to the actual event. Situations where he faced android hatred/discrimination. Interaction with Leo prior to the culmination. I want to show him as he came to be the man he is now. I’d also love to push his ideals post-revolution - dig into situations where he is angry. Also would love to explore him getting faced more with his unhealthy tendencies that are, disguised as virtues, not.... sustainable and/or good examples.

And plots! I’d love to dig into more post-revolution plots dealing with human/android relations, assassination attempts, & persisting android discrimination. I’m also burning (  🔥 🔥 ) to explore the midst of an extended revolution; human involvement, freedom efforts (protests! media break ins!), clashes with authorities. You know, the revolution that actually lasted months instead of days. And AUs. I love my Human AU. Give my more illegal android fight!club AU, or captured after a failed revolution AU, or western AU.

She smiled at the older child that was interacting with Alice as she approached them from above. Child Androids were so rare, especially in Jericho, so it was a relief Alice could find someone closer to her age to bond with. “Hi there, sweetie,” she said with an open smile. Though the other looked much younger, they were both the same height, which just indicated how short Kara was. “What’s your name? I’m Kara. Nice to meet you. I see you’ve met Alice here. Is anyone with you?”

Lily was folding slowly. Glacially so. She had promised to help, but it was arguable whether taking nearly three whole minutes on each piece of clothing that passed into her hands was helping or just vaguely participating. The fact of the matter was that her mind was simply elsewhere and occupied, making even the rote and repetitive an extended task.

She had been just as glacial in revealing what was on her mind. Slowly pinching seams, pinching her lips, thinking loudly.

“Elsie?” Finally. She had given up pretending to fold the shirt in her hands, and was instead worrying her fingers over one of the sleeves. “How many kids have you seen here at Jericho?”

“So, what’s your story? If its not too personal to ask.” All the android here in New Jericho had stories how they got here. Seven’s wasn’t all that glamorous, found in a junkyard after Cyberlife abandoned all projects when the androids were taking over the city, didn’t want them finding another RK even if it was one they tortured and didn’t expect to live. Seven was a very shy android after getting their deviancy, so them talking to someone other than the leader was rare. She just had a similar aura to Seven, a trusting face, a calming air, an innocence in her eyes.

She kinda kinda reminded Seven of themselves.

secret to most of the people who know the android, the RK-900 unit is extremely great with children, though it’s model never had a functioning social module that allowed him to be that great with interacting with anyone, once deviating, niles found himself a bit easier with children. it made it nicer. 

“ elise, “ niles clears his throat and then pulls out some art supplies from behind his back that had been shoved in a very old grocery bag. “ the behavioral health section of the police department was getting rid of some supplies and i asked if i could have some. i figured it’d be something entertaining,” he explained, giving her a soft smile as he handed over the bag. 

                   “ it isn’t much, they had already tossed a lot of things. “

thank you all so much, god. this literally made me weep. i still am. i’ve never seen this much support so fast so soon for one of my blogs. i am just overwhelmed. thank you for your support, it means everything. i was feeling really bad about lacking lately, but this just showed me that most people are really understanding and that i made the right choice in coming back to tumblr rp <3

I’m just... lost. And everyone else just seems so... happy. I want that security. I want to have purpose again.”
