A witch and a sorceress, both wearing the shrouded mantle of the burden of ‘monster’. Even if Inshel’s was bound tightly in secret and mystery, hidden by guarded smiles, but they, in many ways were similar.
The moment the witch laid eyes on the small woman, with the appearance of a child, a feeling of kinship settled in. Without ever speaking a word to her fellow caster, a sense of understanding clung to her passing thoughts of Nyx.
And then one day, she approached. A single, simple question.
“Nyx. I would speak of spells with you. I have...a proposition, if you will?”
And yet here Inshel felt as if she had known the other woman her entire life.
