not really gonna loredump (too tired to do so) during destructathon (also known as the siege of heaven) a lot of destroyers ended up getting new armor for the occasion. so crototype ended up getting a new suit of armor with a cape made of steel wool (which he usually keeps ablaze to look cool)

meanwhile... at the post office. so uhh, i got inspired by invincible to draw a bunch of tophat variants! (not all are evil)

i have finally finished the corruption redesign!

as the text on the bottom says, the three guys on the bottom are super corrupted guys! they act like normal corrupted guys except they have a special gimmick, be it immobilizing, turning invisible or buffing other enemies.

they're also just stronger in general being beefier and dealing more damage.

now, what's next?

probably something that isn't as due for a redesign but probably still needs one, distortion!

seeing as how i've never done a full on distortion enemy sheet, they are kind of due for one lol.

so! i have been hard at work drawing the corruption redesigns, and that includes not just the computers, BUT ALSO THE OTHER GUYS!!

with a lot of outside help (thanks gamerbloz) i've redesigned these guys with a brand spankin new color scheme and concept, one of them had to go through a full-on concept change COUGH *spore spewer* COUGH COUGH so, without further ado, from left to right, their names. 1. Melee Corrupted 2. Ranged Corrupted 3. Corrupted Mage 4. Corrupted Guardian 5. Corrupted Hopsliputer 6. Spore Spewer 7. Corrupted Flarrow

*fun facts: * this is already the third corruption redesign i have done * the spore spreader is made out of scraps and remains * the corrupted guardian and the flarrow are the only ones here with less than two redesigns * there is more to come lol

STORM THEIR TRENCHES! FOR THE FIRST DESTROYER!

[pictured: an elite computer trooper storming a cargan trench on the world of Emevolious Prime, crica 5,347 AD] ok lore time: first off, the fuck's a cargan??? the cargans are an empire consisting of multiple species of giant, bug like creatures that all fall under the umbrella term of "Cargan" the cargans are mostly known for their genocidal reign over the milky way and their insane technological feats that were achieved through stolen technology. gonna make this short, in the year 2568 the cargans attempted to invade earth and take it for themselves, however the computers managed to push them out of earth, IN. 5. DAYS. the cargans were shocked, no one was able to defend their attacks before, and in such a short time? how was this possible? while the cargans were still shocked from what just happened, the computers began a counterattack on a cargan border world, and from there,

THE ETERNAL WAR BEGAN.

15 thousand years of constant warfare, it was the longest war that both sides had seen in their entire existence, and in the end only one species emerged victorious. the computers had won the eternal war, but at what cost? humanity was dead, billions of computers fell in battle to defend their homes and earth. multiple destroyers had died in the eternal war but the one who had left the biggest scar, was crototype, the first destroyer. in the year 5,247 crototype died while defending a world from a huge cargan invasion, setting the entire planet ablaze when he died. the death of crototype was unforeseeable, incomprehensible, how?? how did the first destroyer die? how could this be? the entire computerian empire would grieve his death for years to come, however, in his death a new form of warrior emerged, empowered by his spirit from hell, crototype had blessed these warriors, and named them: THE ELITES. STRONGER, FASTER, UNSTOPPABLE. they are crototype's elite soldiers, the best of the best, despite being adept in ranged weaponry, a lot of them prefer not to use guns out of respect for crototype's melee only fighting style.

despite being stronger than most other soldiers, elites are a very rare sight on the battlefield because they're only brought out when a situation is truly dire.
