it had been a few weeks since the incident at the bar where an off duty stranger had helped her out immensely. she hadn’t been out since, not that she was a big partier in the first place but she just didn’t want to find herself in that situation again knowing that the likelihood of someone like landon being around again was very slim. she loaded her clothes into the washer, adding detergent and a few quarters before closing the lid and starting it. and when she glanced up around the laundromat she spotted her heroic stranger across the room, propped in front of a washing machine. she smiled softly before walking over to him, “hey,” she said as she approached, coming to a stop a few feet away from him, “i gotta say this is the last place i expected to see you.” // @destructiism
