a few hector headcanons : 

- hector dislikes the human race. yes, he’s a human. but because he’s been treated as anything but for the majority of his life. the only person who recognized hector’s humanity was dracula. if it was not for dracula, hector would have deemed himself a monster rather than a human. dracula emphasized the fact that he was a human, so very human because of his emotions and feelings. - hector can resurrect the dead. stop sleeping on his abilities.  - hector !!! IS NOT !!!!! WEAK !!!! he literally can defend himself. ( see the entire game of curse of darkness ??? hector is not defenseless ??? i’m looking at you netflix )  - hector is not desperate for love or romance or company. he’s fine isolating himself. he’d much rather have the company of animals than humans or vampires.

lil notes on cayden bc his bio is not available bc im lazy   :   001.  his real name is lost, only sloppily written down in one of hojo’s reports. he was born in wutai, but due to the ongoing war, shinra soldiers took children and warriors as prisoners. cayden was taken to the lab, as hojo saw fit to experiment on the children from the war, as they were deemed useful in his experiments.  002.  cayden typically went by SOLDIER # 468 ,  until a friend gave him a name.  they named him cayden, for reasons unknown.  but when the soldier friend died from experiments,  cayden took on the name officially to honor him.  003.  he was not part of the same project as sephiroth ( project s ) or genesis ( project g ) ---- it was a combination of both studies and research. he was one of few soldiers who survived the initial experiments of intergrading both research studies. although, he experiences degradation and may be susceptible to the reunion and sephiroth’s control.   004. to prove loyalty to shinra,  they sent him back to wutai to demolish wutai soldiers.  when proven loyal, they granted him rank of first class.

so, here’s a headcanon i’ve been think about since starting my rewatch of spn ( s4 ) : 

-  DEAN’S SOUL WAS TWISTING IN HELL AFTER HE TOOK ALASTAIR’S DEAL. dean’s soul was demonizing when he began torturing souls in hell. michael, the archangel, commended that his vessel remain in tact, USEFUL; and such is the reason “god commanded” castiel to rescue dean’s soul from hell. if dean’s soul fully demonized, he would return to his vessel, whom was buried in Illinois by his younger brother ( if he’d ever made it out of hell ), and taint the vessel. michael would not have a “righteous, true vessel.”  with god’s absence, the angels began to desire the apocalypse, so michael not having a vessel would, ultimately, put a damper on their plans for earth. essentially, dean was saved from hell out of convenience for heaven, and they intended to use him as a weapon in a war against hell. 

-  also, DEAN’S SOUL, SINCE IT WAS ALREADY TAINTED FROM HELL, WAS EASIER FOR THE MARK OF CAIN TO ABSORB THE REST OF HIS ‘INNOCENCE’ AND ‘HUMANITY.’ essentially, later, dean became one with cain’s mark, as it enhanced hell’s influence on him. dean would embody the sin of murder, becoming one with all that inspires it  :  rage, wrath, jealousy, lust, etc. he became not just a demon, fully, but something akin to cain, himself  /  something so wicked that not even hell could contain.

SEASON ONE BASED HEAD CANON  :   -  𝙻𝙾𝚈𝙰𝙻𝚃𝚈 𝚃𝙾 𝙵𝙰𝙼𝙸𝙻𝚈,  not out of love but out of sheer duty. dean was raised to be a warrior, so it’s only natural that he developed that soldier mentality. while traveling with john, without sam, dean developed a sort of soldier reliance on his commander in charge. he saw john as his father, yes, but also his leader in this supernatural war that was waging on. without sam around, without mary being alive and well, dean started to lose his former understanding of familial love, twisting the definition of it. without his entire family, dean’s idea of love for his father began to distort. their family had been breaking apart and it was only him and his father left. dean’s emotional state began to numb, and he sought only his father’s approval from there on out. he sought not love, but rather his father’s respect, approval, and praise. of course, dean did love his father growing up, respected him, too, but somewhere along the lines, he became his father’s soldier and not his son.

because i’ve been playing vesperia, i’m gonna jot down some headcanons + details about young yuri that i would like to elaborate on.

- yuri’s parents died when he was very young. he was cared for by locals of the lower quarter, mainly the inn keeper. yuri has only very vague, very hazy memories of a sickly woman from his childhood. those are the only memories he has of his mother, or who he assumed was his mother. she had long hair similar to his. as for his father, though, yuri has no recollection of his birth father. he was told his father died long before his mother, but there is little information that the citizens of zaphias’ lower quarter offers him. it’s a little suspicious, almost as if his father was disliked among the public.

- when flynn and his family moved to the lower quarter, yuri became very close to flynn, almost inseparable. the scifo family was the family yuri did not have but desperately wanted. yuri found himself attached to the family, considering them almost his own family. however, when flynn’s father, finath, an imperial knight, died, it forced flynn and yuri to want separate things and strive for different paths. they slowly became more like rivals than brothers as they grew into their teenage years. flynn’s strength seemed to always surpass yuri’s, which made yuri a little resentful and awfully spiteful. 

- after flynn joined the imperial knights, yuri remained in the lower quarter causing havoc for the locals. his criminal record started at a very young age, though it was only minor felonies. he would act out against knights collecting taxes, start fights with nobles, petty theft, etc. when one of the locals who cared for yuri as a child, hank, told yuri to ‘work properly,’ yuri reluctantly joined the knights. he nearly failed the recruitment exam because instead of completing his task, yuri chose to save a fellow soldier from being killed by a monster. only because yuri managed to kill the monster in one blow, his instructor decided to allow him in the knights. yuri wasn’t necessarily interested in joining the knights and had even more of a difficult time abiding by their strict rules. three months later, yuri saw fit to leave the knights and return to the lower quarter.
