L: "The kid lost his mother and then did a year in prison. He just needs to get his bearings."

H: "Did you see the attitude he gave me in the gym?"

L: "If I had just gotten out of statesville and been made to shake hands with a bunch of cops I would have had the exact same attitude."

H: "I don't think it's so much I'm a cop as much as Justin thinks I'm your boyfriend."

L: "You wish."

H: "You wish."

L: "No. You wish."

V: "You like working in this unit, you keep it in your pants."

H: "I didn't know it was out?"

V: "Erin is off limits. End of discussion"

L: "It's so messed up. These girls out there have no idea." "I'm going to need a drink when this is done, what do you say?"

H: "Oh, I don't think your dad would like that."

L: "What are you talking about?"

H: "What do you think I'm talking about?"

L: "The over protective father thing was fine when I was a teenager, but I don't need you looking out for me anymore." 

V: "It's Halstead I'm looking out for. I've seen what happens to the guys you date." 

L: "What is that supposed to mean?"

V: "You've left a string of broken hearts behind you since you were 15. I need Halstead 100% effective. Not throwing pebbles at your window at 3 in the morning."

L: "You don't get to tell me who I can and can't hang out with on my personal time."

V: "My unit, my rules. You want to date a cop? There are plenty of other districts out there."

[After Voight goes to Lindsay's apartment to have a chat with her about his son]

H: "Should I sneak out the fire escape?"

L: "I gotta go take care of something real quick. Thank you for being here. Today was a rough one." 

H: "You've been there for me before."

... *sexual tension*

H: "I might wait 5 minutes before I leave..."

L: [laughs] "Sure."

And that's how we get Halstead sneaking into Lindsay's apartment to see her without "dad's" permission! I love this ship! :)
