detectivejane I know exactly what you mean! I'm not actually ready to "settle down". For all that I'm looking forward to being here for longer than a year, I still have one eye on where to go next. I'm constantly restless and I actually love the newness of arriving somewhere and not knowing anything about it and exploring. I sympathise a lot with Laura Ingalls' Pa who always craved to "go west"! I keep meaning to reinvent myself in every new place but I never really do. Sometimes I wonder if I will ever "settle down". I'm not sure I want to...
