I've been having some Symptoms and now off the back of a blood test, I need to do another test to rule out cancer. And honestly the doctor said that I don't have some markers that someone with cancer probably would have, so it seems relatively unlikely and they need to rule it out, so they can continue to figure out what is causing the Symptoms, but I am obviously terrified (WHAT IF???) and I am just so generally stressed about my health, physical and mental. And while I'm talking to my mum about it, it's not the sort of thing you talk about except to close family and tumblr, so it feels really lonely. And it's my birthday next week. I have never wanted to celebrate less. Fortunately I am out all day singing with my choir that day.

Aaargh. 2026 really is a garbage fire of a year so far.
