Disco Detecto, London, United Kingdom,
At the core of the project lies an AI-driven system capable of analysing the collective mood of its users. Rather than treating architecture as a static container, Disco Detecto functions as a responsive interface: the emotional data of visitors directly informs spatial atmosphere, lighting behaviour, and environmental expression. The interior and exterior are continuously recalibrated based on this emotional feedback, turning human presence into the primary generator of architectural form and ambience.
The building envelope abandons traditional solid facades in favour of a dynamic, semi-transparent skin. Externally, the structure operates as an urban equalizer—its luminous surface shifting between smooth, calm states and highly active, rhythmic patterns depending on the internal emotional intensity. In this way, the city becomes an observer of the interior collective mood, while the building itself acts as a mediator between private experience and public realm.
