I've been keeping an eye out for this comic. It's a pretty epic 90's tale of "don't do drugs, stay in school, gangs are bad." This is a few highlights from Tim's story. He tries to invite the loser kid with overbearing parents to hang out with him, but peer pressure (the bane of a teenager's existence) makes him back out (come on, Ives, I expected better of you!). The kid's dad starts selling drugs (very Breaking Bad), and Tim ends up tracking them down and confronting the drugged-up kid, who gets violent. It all turns out okay in the end. Some great lines in here, though. "Apprentice scourge of evil" is pretty classic, and I love that he calls the Redbird the "apprentice Batmobile." Detention Comics One Shot

and yet they kept putting his ass back in school.... bro canonically does not enjoy it, kept leaving, and they kept putting his ass back. he wasn't even a supersenior by the time we hit bendisboot kon. he was a grown ass man stuck in farm country school. free my boy kon el. he hate school.
