The moments Rose shared with Geno had grown to be quiet moments of just enjoying one another’s company anyhow, when Rose got the chance to sleep and project herself into Geno’s plane of existence. Though today, something was certainly bugging her, more than usual as a small frown appeared while she was sitting beside him.

♦ … But, there are somethings I need to say to you, things about myself I think I’m ready to tell you now.

“ A human did all this to you...? ” The young boy quietly asked, glancing down to look him over again now with a look of... slight guilt. He’d never known any human who was capable of that much violence, and honestly it was really sad to hear that a kid could do all that.

“ I’m-I’m sorry, I promise that not all humans are like that. ” Steven eventually says with a somber frown, sighing as his eyes lowered to the ground. “ There’s a lot of really nice people up on the surface! Sure they can get a little scared at new stuff, but that’s just cause they wanna keep one another safe! When you show them you don’t mean any harm, people are really accepting then! ”

Well, maybe that was just from his experience with the people of Beach City, but if the humans in Beach City were really nice, then that had to the be case all around the world!

Red Apatite

- personality of the fusion

Apatite is a cautious, yet curious fusion who views the world with almost a sense of awe. This is likely from Geno’s personality being so new to the concept of fusion and seeing the world through a new perspective, alongside with Rose’s innate wonder of new things. However Apatite can be very quick to anger, as Rose’s deep-seeded pain coupled with Geno’s makes for a very defensive fusion that will lash out if they feel someone’s done them wrong.

Geno and Rose have a close understanding with one another, however since this is a fusion neither of them were expecting to work, Apatite can unfuse very rapidly and out of nowhere. Its moreso when they get shocked by something they collapse into their separate forms, but otherwise they’re able to maintain the fusion fairly easily.

Around the height of Rose, if not a foot or two taller.

An arm over Geno’s shoulder, she squeezes his shoulder reassuringly while rubbing her thumb over his jacket. At the very least the two of them understood this frustrating, heartbreaking dilemma.

Because Rose visits Geno when she sleeps, she is sometimes able to manipulate the dark void around her and replace it with images she conjures up in her dreams. Since discovering she could do this with Geno present in his own incorporeal state, Rose likes to occasionally replace the darkness with visions of a beach at night time, or perhaps even with space all around them with glittering stars. Of course its an illusion and fades away as soon as she leaves or tires, but if Geno cannot leave this space in the Void Rose would at least like to fill it up occasionally, so he isn’t alone in the emptiness.
