Can’t believe this is actually the first drawing I made for Bloodborne. I found the guy called “Host of the Nightmare”, I learned he wanted to contact elder gods, and so I drew him with all the dream demons I knew of at the time. Looks happy enough for that!

Bionicle 🤝 Link’s Awakening

Hero(es) awakens, having washed up on the golden shores of a beautiful tropical island. It’s a bit vague as to what they were doing out there drifting in the ocean in the first place or how they got there, but whatever- They meet the locals and are tasked with a quest;

This legendary deity is asleep, and an evil, shape-shifting darkness wants to keep it that way to maintain its uncontested power over the island, and contributes to the coma. It claims that it’s better for the god to be asleep, and the evil torments the local populace with all manner of monsters. It is the quest of the hero(es) to defeat the evil and awaken this magical entity.

A standard macguffin quest ensues as they travel around the island, with the guidance of a mysterious entity on specific tasks to awaken the spirit- Only to be told that in order to awaken the magical deity, the island they fought so hard to protect must be wiped from existence. With a heavy heart, they go through with this and defeat the formless darkness as well, with the god awakening and bidding farewell, leaving the hero(es) with a new frontier to explore, as they can now live their life.

Linktober (Shadow) Day 4- Nightmares

Felt pretty burnt out today, so here’s a low-effort DethI.

‘Just once’, Ganondorf thought as he felt the thump on his chest, ‘it would be nice if ‘endless peace’ was actually endless.’

“Hey. Heeeeeey. Heeeeeeeeeeey. Big man. Big D. Daddy-o. Gramps. Gan-pa. Ganon the Mannon...heeeeeeeeey.”

If he stayed very, very still, there was a chance that the demon on his chest would leave. 

“Gaaaaaanoooooon. Waaaaaake uuuuuuuup.”

A very small chance.

“If you don’t pay attention to me I’m going to turn into seventeen bees and fly up your coat.” 

A very small chance that, quite frankly, was often not worth it. 

hey who wants to tell me about ganon interacting with other antags that dont have anything to do with his plans

Demon King Portraits! 

I like to think that Twinrova would be pretty revered go- like wow, THESE two taught our cool boss magic and raised him?? they must be cool too! So they often get painted in official murals too, often with their tandem magic in full view. 

Ganondorf gets his huge and fluffy mane put in, often with tons of detail in the colour. it tends to dwarf everything else so he has to be veeery specific about whether or not he wants the jewels focused on or the hair focused on. 

Last one is about an au where frightened hylians get a say in the next demon king once ganondorf pops it, and they accidentally elect a horrific nightmare creature that even the demons try to ignore. say goodbye to bratty child and hello to Nightmare Death Eye! (Deathy to their friends). 

Might do more of these or at least expand on that au.

I simply loved the final boss battle against DethI as it transformed between different forms it assumed would embody Link's fears, including those of Agahnim and Ganon from the previous adventure.

It may not have been a tough fight, but it was absolutely appropriate. I can't be the only one who missed a Marin form (representing the fear of losing her/causing her loss) though right?
