don't judge me this was written years ago.
I walked around for a few hours, brooding in my own thoughts. Eventually I sauntered my way back to the third division barracks, climbing the stairs and going to my room. I sat in front of the mirror on the floor, looking at my reflection as I ran a brush through my long brown hair. I yawned and let out a deep breath, smirking at my pathetic looking expression. Before getting up I ran eyeliner around both my eyes, making them more dramatic. I also pulled off my gloves, laying them on the small table along with my eyeliner. I wouldn’t need them just to get dinner with Aisha. Then again….I cast a glance at them and shook my head ruefully. I was being paranoid. Aisha would kill anything that came our way.
Standing up, I brushed my fingers along my dresser and went to the screen. I opened it and stepped out just to run into somebody in the hallway. “Sorry,” I murmured, closing my screen and turning around. I stiffened when I saw the silver haired Captain Ichimaru standing there, rubbing his jaw. “Oh, um, sorry Captain,” I squeaked, not wanting to get into it with him. I sidestepped him and started to walk away.
“Where are you going?” called the captain, sounding curious.
“I’m going to dinner with my friend. Aisha Uchira,” I replied, stopping and turning to look at him.
“Aisha Uchira…oh I remember her. She graduated top of her class, correct? I heard all the captains were fighting over her, trying to get her into their divisions. Aizen got her, and apparently you tagged along. But you….you were no pushover in the academy either, were you, Kenski?” the captain asked, cocking his head to look at me.
“Yes, Aisha was very well liked in the academy,” I answered carefully, not sure what he wanted to hear. “She graduated top of her class, and decided to join Aizen’s division. I went with her,” I added lamely. I wrung my hands together, looking at the floor. “S-sorry for bumping into you, Captain.”
“Don’t worry about it. No blood no foul, don’t you agree? Oh, and tomorrow at eight a.m. report to my office. I’ll let you know what I expect from you then. Have fun with your friend, Vitani,” he turned away from me and walked down the hallway, humming as he went. I stared at him for a moment before turning and leaving the building, taking the stairs quickly. Captain Ichimaru gave me chills.
just because you aren't on the list doesn't mean I don't like you. It just means we haven't plotted much. And I'd love to get to know more people on this blog.
