A handsome youth of humble origins rises in society through his connections made as an elevator attendant in a luxury hotel.

A very entertaining watch thanks to the three leads who are very well cast. They are a lot of fun to watch and it was a pleasure to listen to the dialogue.

What was missing was some sort of ending. It felt a bit like at the end the story kind of just peters out.

Christmas Crossfire

A man foils an attempted murder, then flees the crew of would-be killers along with their intended target as a woman he's just met tries to find him.

After a strong start, for long stretches it was difficult for me to understand what the point of the movie was. It just seemed to meander. I guess it's meant to be a portrait of rural country life.

There are a number of memorable performances by characters with limited screen time (e.g. Peter Kurth). But they play only a limited role in telling a stringent story.
