Fatherland (Paweł Pawlikowski, 2026) It's a high-contrast, black & white film right up my alley. Although it co-won Best Director at this year's Cannes Film Festival, it's a must-watch regardless of any awards, purely for the combination of Thomas Mann's life story and Sandra Hüller's Erika Mann. I heard the 'Challan Film Company' is bringing it to South Korea. (Yay!) It looks like I’ll just have to wait until this fall to watch it, though.
