I feel great
Week 2
This week is titled chicken because I love chicken. Giving up all forms of protein was the hardest thing about detox week. I was so happy to go to dinner and have a nice salmon and shrimp. Believe me if grilled chicken was on the menu that would have been my first choice. On a high note I am down 5lbs. I feel so much better than I ever have. I feel in control of what I'm eating. No more years of struggling with cravings and temptation. Here's to a happy and healthy 20-fit-teen!
Detox record, day 1, lunch:
Avocado and squeezed lemon on matzo, and green tea.
A few times a year, I do a little detox for a week. Nothing too extreme, I just go vegetarian for a week and eat nothing with added sweetener, including sugar, honey, corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, and everything else like that. If it is not naturally occurring, then I don’t eat it. No alcohol either. I still eat plenty, I just eat healthier. Today, I am starting my detox week. I will be documenting it on tumblr for my own benefit. The tag will be #detox week.
Breakfast: a mango and wheatgrass tea.
