2nd day on my detox diet
No, I am not in rehab... My wife and I decided to do a 20-day detoxification of our bodies which means nothing but water. green tea, fresh fruits and vegetables (organic preferably) for the next 8 days (2 are down). It is a "purification program". After the 10th day we can slowly start adding back some proteins and other carbs.
I must say that so far so good. I mean I do want to dive into a a big bowl of pasta and I do miss my daily craft beer, but all in all, it hasn't been that bad.
But is only day two and my body is still a bit confused and waiting form me to bring on the wheat thins and smoked gouda (my favorite snack).
We shall see what tomorrow brings as I am taking this one day at a time!
