INJURIES STARTERS

Status: ACCEPTING

She sounds and LOOKS tired. After today, how could he blame her? While she’s not seriously injured - or so she insists, she’s no doubt bruised. If there are injuries she’s not telling him about, he will know, within time.

“Then, let’s get you home.” He won’t try to insist she go to the hospital, something tells him she’s as stubborn as he is when she wants to be, especially when it comes to the hospital. “Are you sure you’re okay?”

the pair of them are slowly making their way to the parking lot  ,  dani’s arm draped over malcolm’s shoulder and his arm around her waist to fully support her movement  .  in a few short moments , the profiler had EVERYTHING under control  and in a span of seconds it had all crumbled around them  .  using dani as a ploy was a bad idea from the get go and he had urged gil to change his mind  .  impored him until his hand was trembling because the profile would have put her in too much danger  !! and he was right  . 

now they are here and she’s losing blood very quickly  .  TOO QUICK  .  at the rate of loss versus the time they have for paramedics arrive  ??  there won’t be enough time to keep her from going critical and once that happens every second will count  .  every second already COUNTS and he’s beginning to panic  .  come on ,  bright  .  get it together !! 

eyes scan the area of the parking lot and spot dani’s car  .  they grow wide with even more anxiety at the thoughts surging through his practical mind  .  the logical side saying he can get her to the hospital faster than the paramedics can arrive  .  there’s only one choice and before his mind can comprehend the severity of him not knowing how to drive , malcolm is digging his hands into her coat pockets for a set of car keys  .  ❝  hold on  , dani  .  we’re going to find some help  .  just stay with me okay ?? ❞

“I’m sorry for worrying you with the lockdown.” Considering how close they’ve gotten, Malcolm KNOWS she must have been worried out of her mind. He wishes he could tell her he’s fine, that nothing happened and he’s not shaken up, but TOO MANY THINGS had happened during that lock-down. Memories and things he wasn’t okay with - he’s not fine. “But, I’m here now. I’m safe.” At least he can promise her he’s safe - for now.

“Daniiii.” It comes out far more sing-song than he means too as he slides towards her and on top of her desk, LEANING FORWARD slightly - he doesn’t mean to invade her personal space but he’s still feeling a bit MANIAC. Five hours of sleep within a week doesn’t help much. A little, sure, but he could REALLY do with some more. “Remember when you knocked me out and I slept like a baby? I need you to do that again! Come on, just....hit me.” He brings his hand up to point at his cheek. “Come on, right here, just hit me.”
