                   Tobias has been preparing this single event for weeks now, making sure all the details would fit, even how the tablecloth would lay without causing any wrinkles. Callum spent a lot of time in the bar, long nights and short days due to the times he himself had to work. Little to no time did they have with each other. Hard it may have been Tobias kept strong, patient and using the few hours his lover has for a surprise dinner for two in their own home. 

                     The room was lit with at least fifty candles in different sizes if not more, at one point he really lost count of them. Beautiful fresh flowers decorated any empty space to make it more dream like. Callum deserved a little romance and pampering on his special day. The table set for two with a few more candles and half of it actually covered in nicely wrapped presents.

                        Tobias put everything into this dinner and more. He cooked himself from appetizer to dessert all the courses of a meal would be presented once they settle down, making sure his boyfriends favorite meals were prepared as well. Nothing would be missing. Wine and whiskey with a bottle of champagne cooled in a bucket of ice, keeping it at the right temperature. His friends told him this was way out of line, he was being obsessive about someone Birthday but they didn’t know the truth. Without Callum, Tobias wouldn’t be alive or breathing.

                      Sending a single message to confirm his lover would be returning to their home on time, he hurriedly fixed his clothes and hair. Nervous just like on their very first official date, the love only grew stronger ; the initial feeling lingered.

           Suddenly halting in his steps Tobias took one back, to the position            he was before moving, his head still tilted to the side waiting for            instructions of the other. Though his expression made him self aware.

       That familiar shiver ran down his spine, the kind he felt when Callums mind or body was going into a definite direction of him being bent over the nearest surface. Their connection stronger when the male was in his human form, the fact they were not just lovers but mates, having taken that kind of step in their relationship, gave Tobias an insight in a new kind of life even if he remained as a human of his own. Fighting the urge off to press his lips on the males in a more heated kiss, he opted for a small peck, arms circling his neck for a minute or two as soon as the wolf was in his close proximity. “ Just wait and I will show you I can actually manage a good meal without any incidents. “ His expression relaxed a bit more, nuzzling his nose to Callums. “ We do, I still need to learn so much more from you in your wolf form. Should we settle on a daily hour of play in the garden? Or least a few times of the week when our schedules do not clash? “
