Tick Tock
@deusfalsum
At this time of night most girls her age would be sleeping at home in their warm comfy beds. But not Blythe. What was this silly girl doing? Snuggled deep in her winter jacket, precious black journal held tight in her grasp, warm puffs of air leave her parted lips as she sat against a tree in the deserted park.
It wasn’t like she wanted to go home anyway. Her little box of an apartment was lonely and sad... The red head would rather be here, in the glow of moonlight, processing her thoughts and enjoying the crisp winter air. During the day, this place was bustling with life, but at night, there was secret beauty that only she knew about.
Small smile forming, emerald hues clamp shut as she takes a deep breath. After a few seconds, she releases it, along with a soft hum. Blythe’s frail voice filled the silence of night, singing to herself to pass the time. This was the one place she felt safe to do so after all.

The fae’s good eye narrowed, not so obviously staring the other down. He could swear he’d seen this man before. If he was even a man at all. He sure didn’t smell like a human usually would. Maybe at a Court function? Some legion? How frustrating to not remember! The curse to having such a long life, in all honesty. “Oi,” Carney started abruptly, resting his chin on the back of a hand. “Have we meet before, mate?”
