The night air was chilly, but not enough to necessitate a coat.

Five minutes to go.

Rock didn’t even know why he was still here, waiting out his shift in this empty park. Part of him thought the countdown was wrong, and if he was somewhere no one was when it hit zero, he’d move on with his life.

3 minutes… 

Everything would stay the same. Somehow he was more comfortable with that, than the inevitably awkward meeting he faced. But even as he counted down the last seconds, he noted the curious figure approaching him.

Maybe there was no avoiding it after all. With a sigh, he hesitantly rose to meet the woman.

Holding out a slim, red gift-wrapped package containing a simple black, leather jacket, Koyomi managed to smile. "Merry Christmas Rock. I hope you like it."

Rock looks like he’s about to say something, but he doesn’t, instead he carefully opens the package.

Upon seeing the jacket, he quickly puts it on, grinning happily.
