dev's back, y'all ♡

okay, okay, okay. a lot has been happening lately, some of it i'm willing to talk about and some i'm not (my ask box is open!) but i think i looked over my drafts and ongoing wips to make a few decisions on what to focus on. i'm gonna finish {stages of devotion} and {services requested} first and foremost, since they are nearing the finish line as is

after that i'll focus on something else singularly before moving on down my wip list. i think that's how i'll operate moving forward! i have school coming up in the fall and i will be full time, since i am trying to learn new skills to replace my current ones in order to shift work forces. my body is no longer allowing me to fulfill my dream of being a professional baker / pastry chef and it's hitting a little hard, to be quite honest

i know that the fandom looks different or has changed but i am here and will continue to post c:

what dev's up to

been struggling lately, creatively. but with classes over and a lot of bed rest ahead of me, i've been looking over my wips. here's the header for the next installment of {stages of devotion}

“Don’t wanna be here when y’all start the movie.” Sarah bounds down the stairs, backpack slung over her shoulder. Her curls are secured into two buns atop her head, braided carefully and moisturized with the helpful advice from a friend with similar hair and your careful hands. Protective and stylish so she doesn’t have to worry about any frizz or having to brush her hair out after her sleepover that will probably be more teenage shenanigans than sleep.

“Since when did you start sayin’ y’all?” Joel’s deep voice was teasing, his head knocked back over the back of the couch to look at his daughter from an upside down view as she slipped on her shoes by the door.

“Lil Sarah Miller, saying y’all just like her daddy, how cute.” You singsong as you walk into the room from the kitchen with two beers and a bowl of fresh popcorn.

“Hey, I still have the power to vote you off the island. Don’t push your luck, camp lady.” She points a finger at you but you can see the way she fights to keep her face even with the empty threat. She’s admitted to how much she likes having you around the house, having someone to help lighten her father the way you do.

dev's wip whenever 05/27

i don't have much written beyond a few sentences. my posting may become a little sporadic moving forward. but i do have some stuff i plan on working on after my surgery. my pre op appointment is friday and then it's two weeks out from the actual surgery date, but until then i'm going to focus on getting everything ready for that -> gofundme link (if anyone is feeling generous, thank y'all so much for every donation so far)

gone to the dogs - final chapter and time stamp one shot

services requested - i've added a few chapters to this one, so we're about halfway through with this one! apologies for the cliffhanger in the latest chapter, but the characters truly have control over this new little arc lol

stages of devotion - i have two more installments planned for this and i think y'all will like them c:

black hole sun - i'll begin posting chapters from this one starting in july

steel doesn't burn - new series! excited to explore this new little world and heavily inspired by my current 911 binge lol will be posting starting in july as well!
