It was a light touch - barely there - feather like feeling. Not knowing what to make of it he chose to ignore it. Couldn’t be all that important if it was a that light. A darker voice whispered that it could be important. Could be life threatening. Never let anything go unchecked. Still 70 hours of straight alertness led to bad decisions. 

Dragging his eyes open, blinking past the bleariness of sleeplessness, the wolf tried to focus on the movement. There was something there. A form, a blurry shape of someone. Someone he knew. A scent that was familiar. “What’re you doin’?” He asked, voice scratchy.
