I like to compose music in Online Sequencer, but ever since my computer went kaput, I've been using this handy little tool in Bandlab! I actually really enjoy it, I might keep doing this (composing songs in Online Sequencer, putting them together/editing in Bandlab, or using Bandlab entirely when on the go)
Just choose Virtual Instruments, choose your instrument to start with, and go to this funky little guy in the bottom corner!
After careful consideration (and by that I mean thinking about it for 3 minutes), I've decided to no longer use the GloGlo Twitter account! Yep, gonna post news, updates, and promo stuff here from now on over @gloriousglorai
Once my computer is fixed or replaced, I'm gonna change the website and take down Twitter and possibly Webtoon's socials (still debating that one, still doing Extra Bits, but may just upload those here as well)
Gonna rework my pilot a bit and then reach out to the people interested in voice work in a few months once I'm satisfied! I'm seriously excited to work on this show, I don't plan on starting any other major personal projects for a good while since this is THE personal project of mine >:)
Saff's House is finally done! Had to tweak some stuff, but the welcoming chaos that is Saff's home now has a theme. I'm pretty hype! The theme song Just Look Past the Past is also close to completion, I think it just needs some ambience and slightly different instruments during one part... 🤔
Feeling optimistic that I'll finally be done with scene 1 by Wednesday! Being off social media helped my productivity/motivation a lot. Maybe I'll do something to celebrate??
I kinda wanna talk about the shorts that never were (like the ones I started but never finished), but I feel like it's too early in the series' existence for that. Plus, it might be best in video form. So one day, I shall talk about them and why they were scrapped. Some got to the scripting phase, some have storyboards. Heck, one even had rough animation up to right before the final punchline, so that far into production! I think it'll be fun to dive into the past a bit and finally "release" them...
But for now, I have my Micro Mini and Short #1 to worry about. I may continue with scene 2 next week, because I'm GONNA finish scene 1 in the next few days. I must
Y'know, sometimes I wonder if my goals are sustainable. I'm doing everything but the voice acting, but even now, I'm doing temp voices for some of the characters!
But then I remember I'm doing far more than I used to be able to do, and I'm quite proud. If this is what I can accomplish purely through determination, then there's certainly a chance. Maybe someday I'll be able to hire people to animate, do backgrounds, and make music for the show, but for now, I gotta prove myself... to me >:)
