devi is named after one of my favourite albums of all time, songs of faith and devotion, by depeche mode. so devi is shortened from devotion. they're not named after ceremony and devotion it's ok i'm going to hold ur hand when i say this.
thea is shortened from panthea. uhhhhhhhh because i didn't want to call them faith. because if i called them faith it'd feel like double dipping in titles that could be double dipped between ghost and dm ('reach out and touch faith' / 'faith is mine') that's really why. i just didn't wanna call 'em faith.
