Violin Week: Folk Song - Devil’s Dream
My internship one summer was to listen through this collection of folk songs identify the songs and the create videos to help make the recordings more accessible. It could be a bit much to listen to the songs for long stretches of time, but I did come to love some of them, like Devil’s Dream, the first piece played on this track.

Vauxhall Masquerade: Part Two
It was lots of fun to dance with the comet tail ribbons trailing behind me.I've never danced with either of these ladies before what you see in the video. We learned the dance in two different towns and didn't even have the chance to practice that evening before the performance. I say this because I'm uber self- conscious of the fact that I flubbed up the last pass in this Scotch Reel. And yes, one of the dancers is about 7 months pregnant and can still do a mean reel. That's hardcore.

Electric Sandwich was a German progressive rock band during the 70s. They put a strong focus on fuzz effects and jazzy improv, a lot like Lucifer's Friend but with the meandering character that krautrock usually has. They weren't able to get past their creative differences and split while working on the follow up to this self-titled debut.
