Devil May Cry 3 (2005) When Dante is sent a rude message from his brother, he aims to return the favour and discovers his brother has a devilish plan and Dante is part of it. After the poor 2nd game, I didn’t know what to expect when going into DMC 3. What I got was a lot better than number 2 but not quite as good as DMC 1! DMC 3 has a good story, one that’s at least on par with 1, it has some interesting characters, but I’d have liked to have explored the relationship between Virgil and Dante a little bit more. The gameplay is okay, it looks good and the game has some quirky boss battles. The problem for me is the games mission layout, the linear paths are unclear, the game can be extremely confusing and puzzles can leave you at ends for ages. There’s little to no clues to help you along the way and it makes, what is already a hard game even harder. Also, whoever is playing this game on any of the higher difficulties must be crazy, this game is hard enough! As soon as I got the easy option I took it, and even still some enemies were hard! The soundtrack is cool, it manages to build some great atmosphere in some of the cutscenes but the heavy metal in the game grates on you a bit after a while. After playing the HD trilogy, my overall reaction is that I enjoyed 1, 2 not so much, and 3 was decent. I’m not sure I’m sold on the DMC hype though! Overall, I think DMC 3 is a decent game, not quite as good as the first, it’s definitely for hardcore gamers and not for the light hearted! Don’t play if you want a game to unwind with! #DevilMayCry3 #DevilMayCry3Review #Omareviews #DevilMayCry3SpecialEdition #DevilMayCry3DantesAwakening #Dante #Virgil #GamingReview #PSShare #PSBlog #SharePlay #GamingPhotography #GameReview #Gaming #GamingReview #DevilMayCryHDCollection #DMC https://www.instagram.com/p/CH7rd64l3T9/?igshid=1xqnkike1053p
