36 raised a brow at the man addressing him. "T-truly content...?" The question gave him pause. How fast was he expecting an answer? 36 could probably mull over the question for days and still not come up with something.

When his daughter and her family were all still alive?

When he was still with Q-158 on the Citadel?

Those were the two times in his life that really stuck out in his memory as times when he was 'truly content'...but would going back or undoing the past change who he was? Would bringing them back change anything?

"I-I...I-I'm fine with things as they are." A half truth. He was happy to still have at least one member of his family safe and sound. But the way they were living wasn't great.

It was supposed to be a quiet day, she was supposed to swing by Gloopy Drop to pick up a gallon of Chocolate Ice Cream for Her and Her Earthself to share in the space station orbiting the planet she used to call home. Maybe she was going to go watch a Venusian flick with her and bring along her worm of a husband. BUT NO it could never be that easy when you're fucking Rick Sanchez's daughter.

Beth received not one, not thirteen, but fifty two different messages from The Defiance about her father going on a tear somewhere out near Gazorpian five. Or at least something that looked like her Dad, of course the reports were scrambled and basically useless. However she persisted, she was getting this done to have a good god damn day. Touchdown goes smoothly at his last sighting location of course she figured he was just drunk, and doing the nutrino bomb bullshit that he usually went on about... but she didn't expect to find... Well someone who was not quiet her dad.
