"For a little twerp... You are really lost aren't you?"
Walk Through the Fire
The sun hung high and bright, shining heat like diamonds hard into the shifting earth underneath. Two beasts trampled the feverish sea below them, soaked in waves of sunlight and scattered dust clouds. Heavy claws dug uselessly into the ground as the foothold slid out from underneath the weight of the beast warrior. Already clunky moves were made all the more awkward as the usually graceful feline fought in the midst its weakness.
A master of shadows was merely a target within the endless desert. And the worst part was, Kouichi Kimura did not even know ho he had got there.
Sunlight dancing in his eyes, Kaiserleomon, king of darkness, was catastrophic in his endeavors. Every shot of his ebony blast was eaten by the bright of midday before it could come into range of his foe, let alone make contact. His attackers were enemies of the area, defending their territory no doubt, and only interested in eradicating the nuisance. But Kouichi wouldn't go down without a fight, not when he had the help of his Spirits.
The black of Kaiserleomon's obsidian armor only absorbed the endless heat more fully. Within mere minutes of battle, Kouichi had realized he was at a horrible disadvantage. Every step sunk a little further into the sand, and his breath became too hot for him to handle.
Sand demons mocked his weakness with their approach, knowing just how to use the terrain to their advantage. There were too many for him to try to defeat, and he was at the end of his energy, slowly leaking into the sea of sand below. Only one option was left.
Utilizing all the sparse shadows that he could, Kaiserleomon gathered the power to him, charging himself like a solar panel. Only, he was using the exact opposite of sunlight. And as soon as there was a pool of darkness underneath him, and a mound of demons above him, the Beast Spirit of darkness let out a terrible cry and released the gathered power all at once.
A flash of nighttime swept across the land, as physical as an earthquake, and for a moment, everything went still.
devils-hellfire replied to your post: "Master." Ratatosk grins evilly.
"Unfortunately, you’re not in a position to refuse. I am the first person who said ‘master’, and you are now my pet. Deal with it."
"Why do you insist on constantly doing this? Can you not just leave me be so that I can work on releasing the seal?"
