Children. The bane of Luca’s existence, honestly, but he supposed Bianca was kind of adorable when she was silent and completely still. But naturally, bringing a four year old to a big carnival, he should have known she’d be anything but. And people said babysitting was easy. He’d been chasing after the hyperactive, hopped up on sugar, nonstop chatty child all over the carnival grounds, truly getting in his cardio for the day, before she’d finally decided that running was boring and she wanted on some rides. He’d found the slowest one, but still the longest running one, and placed her in one of the cars, telling the operator that she’d ride as long as she wanted to. Standing by the ride, waving with feigned excitement each time she came around, his gaze turned to the person standing nearby. “I wish I had the energy of a four year old, fuck,” he muttered, turning his gaze back to the ride. “The amount of things I’d get done in one day would blow your mind.”
