OH BOY, i think this ones gonna cap off my three measly days of devnny week. XD

a more serious scene from "Im Not Me" fanfic. the important topic of if Devi forgets some important events and whether Johnny should bring up that trauma or not. and the weaving of fate through actions and words.

devi is in limbo whether to trust johnny and expected that he'd totally sweep his snafu under the rug the moment she'd forget it with her failing brain. but no, he knows what is like to forget things and lose that sense of self that even the bad memories have made.

(devi looks like shes on deaths door here, but that's just the sleep circles and moonlight. shes not THAT sick.)

(to avoid black hair on dark backgrounds, i had devi's hair rust. the same way a black cats hair does. she hates the color, but johnny thinks its pretty.)

Alright, I'm doing it! Devnny week 2026! I don't have time to do it daily, but I still really wanted to do it so I’ll be doing it weekly. It’s more like Devnny weeks.

First day, Johnny gifts Devi a bouquet of paintbrushes. He's so embarrassed he's ready to combust, and Devi is shocked by the thoughtfulness and how cute he's being and FUCK did she really just think Nny is cute?
