honestly, elitists will be elitists. you can dislike something and not be a “fake fan” or someone who’s “just in it for the waifus”. like, it’s just not your cup of tea. they’re gonna say stuff no matter how you justify yourself. which is annoying and terrible but sadly true.
Yeah I can handle elitists since I’ve handle those kinds with Fall Out Boy, they really sound the same honestly, and I shouldn’t feel like I stepped out of line for not liking a remake of an older game because not everyone is going to like the game--just like how if they didn’t like Awakening and Fates I have the right to not like Echoes, I wouldn’t shit on people who did enjoy the game, yeah I have my problems for Echoes, but I wouldn’t go say ‘This game is too hard and has no waifu in it!’--some characters rubbed me the wrong way and the game play is too much for someone like me that’s about it.
I know people like their challenges, but I have my limits on challenge...Awakening and Fates had the right challenge for me, but Echoes is too hard for me, even with the turnwheel thing. I enjoy the story and (most) characters in that game and I’m glad they are being recognized, I probably wouldn’t pick up remake of older FE games either since what I’ve heard their hard too and I’m like ‘nope’.
