Let's be honest, In-ho would be a fantastic disciple to Gi-hun and The Daughter. Because In-ho is seemingly built for obsession - and service.
In-ho, brother of Obsession Lord Jun-ho who spent three years tirelessly searching for one island and basically never resting.
In-ho, who, in his OWN words, "gave his whole life" to his career in law enforcement. We can see the seeds of hyperfocus/hyperfixation (I do think he's neurospicy but that's another post) and a particular fixation on justice, on things being right and making sense, before his character was even changed by the Games.
In-ho, who slaughtered somewhere around half a dozen other players in their sleep, for his wife and baby, so he could save them.
In-ho, who lost himself so completely after the loss of these things - these True Norths which gave his life meaning - career, justice, partner, child -
In-ho, with a screaming, sucking void in his chest that he's tried to fill with another job, another career, whiskey, adrenaline, obsession -
And in the very fragile, very raw, very shaken state that In-ho is in now?
If Gi-hun lived - if he survived that fall or otherwise slipped the noose - In-ho would worship that man.
Even his Front Man persona was about service to those above him.
Can you imagine how insane intense In-ho would be about his dedication to Gi-hun if Gi-hun returned to him after the fall?
I want to see In-ho being not only Gi-hun's loyal and obedient right-hand-man, carrying out any order he gives, attending to his every want and whim, but Gi-hun's blade, his weapon. I want In-ho to kill for Gi-hun (people who deserve it - VIPs and the like), I want him to fight for Gi-hun and the baby, physically, carnally, viscerally. And then I want him to come back, panting, bloodied - not his own - and kneel at Gi-hun's feet. Laying his weapons at Gi-hun's shoes like offerings. Looking up at him with shining, violence-hazed eyes like Gi-hun is the sun and In-ho wants to go blind.
I want In-ho to be reborn and reimagined into something dark and devoted, just by the strength of his convictions - finally, finally, aligned with Gi-hun's.
Just think what they could do.
