My Identity is in Christ
There was a time when I let labels define me—titles, roles, failures, and expectations. I was a Son, a worker, a helper, a struggler, a “good enough” Christian. But none of those labels could hold me steady when life shook.
Then I found this truth:
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
In Christ, I’m not just improved—I’m made new. I’m not a sum of my mistakes or a product of what others say. I am His. Chosen. Redeemed. Set apart.
Jesus doesn’t just patch up the broken. He redefines the identity.
When we know who we are in Christ:
Shame loses its grip.
Fear finds no footing.
Purpose rises from within.
We don’t have to hustle to be enough—we already are because He is.
So today, I choose to live from identity, not for approval. I am loved. I am forgiven. I am His. Not because of what I’ve done, but because of who He is.
Your identity isn’t earned. It’s received. And it’s rooted in Christ.
