Howdy everybody!
Good to be back! Mod E CARRIED this place over the years - 10/10 round of applause for them!! LITERALLY COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU!
I just wanted to clue y'all in on a maybe-little-known fact, and that's the fact that the Lokean Welcoming Committee has had an unofficial discord server since...2018! I say "unofficial" because I just sorta made a Discord server and announced it in a tiny post nearly a decade ago when we were new-ish.
If you'd like to join the Discord server, the link is here. 18+ only, #1 rule is NO BEING MEAN. The vibes are so curated it's not even funny.
Another perk: We just started meeting once a month in the voice chat to get together, share poetry/devotional writing, chat, walk through guided meditations, and just really foster a sense of community!
Just wanted to share that with the ether, I guess. I'll add the server to the blog...once I figure out how to use tumblr again after a decade. Ew. Why is everything on the left. AND WHAT IS TUMBLR PREMIUM?

Happy Spongecake(Gate) Day to those who celebrate! And Loki, of course. This holiday comes from a 2012 post where a user shared their offering to Loki, a spongecake, and of course someone had to tell them how wrong they were to offer that to Loki, so now on the fourth of September lokeans/ heathens & witches who worship Loki give him the silliest treats.
This year he requested (demanded) the fruity pebbles flavored pudding. I thought the sparkler candles would be fun, but Betty Crocker did me dirty and they barely fizzled.
A note: some of the captions (all instances of ‘hi’, the second ‘oh’, and the ‘okay’ are all from the fizzles and crackles from the candle, and I like to think Loki saying hi (and ‘oh’ and ‘okay’ lol)
