Bc when he was getting the stuff to stitch hook up, mills almost calls him his name name and it starts with “jab”. When he asked her what kind of magic the salve was made of, she motions to a HEART on her uniform and the tavern logo was a heart with thorns????? It’s giving wonderland.

Are vane and roc the jaberwhockys kids or descendants? If it’s one of them, who was it????

Bc I can’t see Vane OR Roc getting their shit rocked by a teenage girl.

Okay, well thats not really what I was wanting with this story. I was hoping to follow the Wonderland thread, but a wedding novella with a kidnapping was still a lot of fun.

This was a good conclusion to the story and I'm happy with how everything was wrapped up. Wendy gets to be a mother and actually raise her child this time. Hook with the Life spirit wasnt a twist I was expecting, and as much as he hates it, I love it for him. I still want a Wonderland adventure with Roc.

Ohhhhhhh, this was so much better than the first one. For one, we got some friends from the first series back on the page and I will always say yes to more Winnie. For two, and more importantly, the characters felt more like themselves. In book one, everyone just felt /off/ from their established behaviors.

Not to mention, Vane and Roc backstory! WONDERLAND?! Hell YES. Please, please, please tell me we're going there in the next book. Please!
