The first mandala I made for my "FLORAL MANDALA" series!! It's based on lotus and I really tried to capture all of the stages a lotus goes through and tried to incorporate the different parts of it apart from the flower itself!!

SOMETIMES I'M JUST AMAZED AT MYSELF (my stupidity to be exact) LIKE WHY THE FUCK DID I NOT START DRAWING THIS KIND OF MANDALA SOONER?!?!?! I actually did try to but abandoned it for months cause I was afraid and finally listened to the wise saying "fuck around and find out"
I really love this though, I could stare at this for hours and that's not just something I say for anything. I really adore the almost gem like shine I gave it yk. And how it's like the shapes are continuing and stopping AND giving an illusion of a shape that's not really defined and I'M LIVING FOR THE COLOR COMBO I CHOSE (proud of my past self *pat pat*)

Right now I'm more into making mandalas digitally but before I was all about drawing them by hands. So here you go! A mandala which I had painstakingly drawn for over 5 hours by hand on a 8 X 4 inches paper :)))

I've already told you guys about how much I love drawing hands but if you didn't believe me before, here you go, another hand I've drawn using charcoal! (My fav medium)
I used to be so afraid of hands because of the countless videos I've seen of artists hating on them. I drew the sketch for this and then abandoned it for like 8 months because I was a darpok and when I couldn't find a reference for hours, I stumbled upon this, finished it and found out that I love drawing/painting hands!!!
