One sometimes has to question the Empire's thought process. I mean, look at them, they've got these badass troopers in white armor, freakin' Sith Lord Darth Vader, gigantic stardestroyers, and then there are these orange lizard hippo things.

EDIT: I realized that they appear brownish-green in the movies. I play Star Wars Commander where the dewbacks appear orange, so that's where I got that from. idek
