The thing that bothers me the most about Hannah McKay is the fact she got upset Dexter turned her in after she literally poisoned his little sister who she knows he loves dearly. She gets mad at him and even leaves a black orchid when she's lucky he didn't try to kill her again. The writers were so far up their asses with her plot in S8, there was some good shit in S8 but stomped on by her. Debra forgiving her as well was mind boggling imo, I could understand her tolerating Hannah for Dex, but full on forgiving and being buddy buddy with her? Bye. Hannah McKay was genuinely the fucking downfall of the last two seasons, S7 was carried by Isaak Sirko and the La Guerta BHB story should have been longer. I fucking HATE Hannah McKay.

S8 was a fucking shitshow, but one highlight was Dr. Vogel. I love her slowly realizing Dexter actually isn't a psychopath, she's starting to second guess herself, but she simply can't believe it.

When her son kills her she gets to see raw emotion from Dexter, despite the blood pooling around her from the injury, he's focused on her not the blood. Dexter was full on panicking, agonizing, there was horror in his eyes. Like he was going through his mothers death all over again.

Which in a way he was since Vogel was basically his mother figure despite them knowing each other for so little time. The way he desperately hugs her and tries to hold on to her... the way his PURE RAW sadness turns into anger, it's all real, it's human.

I like to imagine in those last few moments she was alive, the look in her eyes was her realizing what Dexter truly was.

Hannah is beautiful, obviously, because Yvonne Strahovski is beautiful. I love what she does with the character, but it's so obvious, especially in the final season, that they just want her to be Beautiful™️. Totally unwilling to risk her not being 110% Beautiful™️. It's not even my top ten plot dummies for the final season of Dexter but like... cut and dye your hair? Buy some wigs??? Goddamn.

Went out today and while I was out, my sister wanted to have a little potter around Cex to see if there was anything good and I found these and bought them home🥰 I've been looking in second hand shops/ charity shops for horror dvds (I have a small little collection tee hee) and I've really been wanting to find House of Wax to add to my collection, imagine my surprise finding a double feature of the 2005 movie and the original movie for only €10😍😍😍 as well as Dexter Season 8 (€5) and Aliens (€1) from Cex as well YIPPEE

Ignore the previous sticker residue on the House of Wax case😭 it was underneath the original Cex sticker😭😭
