As my disability progresses, I find it cumbersome to navigate a keyboard and mouse simultaneously in computer games. PlayStation or Xbox controllers are inaccessible for me right out of the box, so I’ve gravitated toward mouse-only games in the past few years as my primary source of computer entertainment.
We all need a little more fun in our lives! If you’re dealing with issues in coordination or motor function, this article is a great starting place.
A couple of games we heartily recommend:
Hatoful Boyfriend: a Japanese dating sim where all the character are pigeons. Really.
Triple Town: a super-fun puzzle game where you place pieces of a town and match three to create even better pieces!
Gone Home: a really poignant exploration game where you come home from a year abroad and find your house empty. Snooping around tells the story of your family, what you’ve missed, and where they went.
