I headcanon Prof. Membrane's mom also makes up her own English words like the notorious "Horse Tornado," aka a merry-go-round.
I just imagine she comes home with baby Membrane one day, and she tells her husband about how she put their son on a "horse tornado." He'd be so confused and so worried.
Another headcanon would be Prof. Membrane's dad, is constantly confused, exhausted, and or worried from his wife and son's antics. Probably extends to his grandkids too.
Also wouldn't be surprised if his dad was the side where the prof got his "Anything for science" attitude, and doing wacky experiments at home that possibly cause destruction. Think Dr. Hogins from Bones.
Grandma Membrsnw is equally worried, but more so about the safety of her boys and their home.
