THE GURLS!!!! Ive been so busy the last couple of weeks, but nothing was gonna stop me from joining a magma theme that was perfect for drawing DRAGONS, the High Fantasy theme!

I drew my newest AU dragons for this, which are Jennika, Venus, Frida and Lita.

VENUS AS A DRAGON!

I have not read IDW, but that wont stop me from dragon beaming characters from that iteration!!! CACKLES. Behold~ dragon Venus :D

She is moth inspired, mostly because that matches with Frida, but i also took the wing pattern inspiration from a very stunning grey moth i found. It fit perfectly. Let it be known, i LOVE characters whos primary color is grey, my brain goes brrrrr and i just really enjoy the grey color scheme.

In this AU Venus is one of two dragons who were left behind by Thorn, and survived the explosion.

Notes:

Breathes an ice cold white/blue fire

Has poor hearing

Has poor vision in daylight

Extremely manoeuvrable and agile while flying, is on par with Leo's flying skills!

Does not enjoy water, but is very capable at swimming

She is the second biggest, behind Raph, but she is actually the oldest of all the experiments

Venus is often given to Big Mama when Draxum needs further materials that only Big Mama has the resources to acquire, but she primarily lives and works for Draxum, often doing his dirty work for him

I actually have 0 knowledge about Venus' lore from IDW and i will throw you into the sun if you spoil it for me before i read the comics!! (im joking, probably).

I have some guesses about what happens in her story since its inevitable to see a few spoilers when your googling for an official ref sheet of Venus, and i have ideas cooking that i want to implement into the AU, its fun keeping things as close to canon as possible.

I am obsessed with how perfectly shaped i drew her face, shes so pretty!!

And the updated height chart, shes a little taller and bulkier than most of her siblings <3

Side note, ive been working more on my color theory lately, and Venus' design was me practicing how to use values. She has really good values :D
