#trying to tell what sex a conure is is such a hard task when your not able to dna test them xD #i used to own allot of them and overtime built up a “gender radar” where I could guess their sex semi-accurately #the skill was developed and based solely on vibes and each birds behaviour when i got to know each one personally. like a 6th sense #when your like me and lived with a house full of them (most of which i raised by hand) its something you pick up #there were a few that i could never figure out because their vibe was neither female or male (wasnt able to dna test)#and a few were probably having their own gender identity crises lmao. they probably didnt even know themselves #one of my favourite conures was thought to be a boy by everyone but i think he was secretly a super buff woman the entire time #id never seen a conure so fit and manly (he stole all the good genetics) but he had the vibes of a girlboss

Ive been the one to bribe a writer with a full illustration piece of fanart for a story that had been on hiatus for a long time, and they posted a new chapter soon after, so. Absolutely yes, IT WORKS! BRIBE WITH FANART!!

#me as an artist: i got so much serotonin from making them a gift too #so you dont necessarily need to bribe them with fanart when the process of making it gives you just as much joy #but also as a writer: if i had someone come out of the blue and surprise me with fanart for one of my stories i would be SUPER energized #id write like ive never written before to get a new chapter out just for that person #because someone giving you fanart is like the ultimate sign of “omg someone actually loves what ive written just as much as me!”

Initially I planned to finish this work by the 1st of June cause in the place where I live we celebrate International Children's Day on this date, and I wanted to create something nostalgic (looks at the calendar, mmmm.. entire week later, I never meet deadlines ._.)

It's a song named "Маленький" (en. Small/Little) by the rock band Дайте танк (!) (to translate literally "Give us a tank (!)")

The lyrics in English doesn't have a rhyme, but I hope it's understandable

I was re-watching possession and kinda wondered what happened after the big battle at the end, (mainly with Lloyd) After barely being able to walk, to having to fight Morro (again) and also watching his dad die for like the third time- his adrenaline probably crashed pretty hard

Long story short I just wanted an excuse to draw hurt comfort (comfort? Idk man I guess not being possessed would be pretty comforting)

You also don’t get any dialogue because I don’t write (USE YOU’RE IMAGINATION IDK MAN)

it’s so sad when you boil artists down to likes. when you won’t read a fic because of lack of kudos. when you won’t watch a pilot because it’s “too new” to have a fandom. when you won’t talk with an artist unless they’re on a certain platform.

Artists do it for themselves, but they also do it to share with other people. It makes an artists day when you comment on their artwork.

Tell your artists that you like their work, or share it, or comment on that fic/artwork. Even if it’s something little. It’s important. It makes them want to keep going.

The Deep deserves better

This is a great animated show with character development, mythology & an interesting storyline. {Think Australian, underwater version of The Secret Saturday’s only better}

With it being on Netflix for the past year or so, I keep expecting the same reaction from fandoms as HTTYD, Trollhunters, Miraculous Ladybug, The Hollow….(it’s definitely up there with those animations).

Plus it’s got submarine pirates with a bad boy pirate prince with a soft spot for a green eyed adventurer
